Why Should You Combine Your Audible & Amazon Accounts?

It’s not mandatory. You do not have to merge your accounts. But if you do, there are some features you will be able to enjoy. Combing your accounts will enable you to access audiobooks from your Kindle devices.

More so, you will be able to seamlessly enjoy reading eBooks and Audible audiobooks. Thanks to the WhisperSync for Voice and Immersion Reading features you will get in your combined account!

Apart from the above, these are the most common advantages of a combined single account:

  1. You will be able to take the advantage of Amazon Household Sharing. Meaning you can share the contents with your family members to keep the cost at a minimum.
  2. Ability to listen to audiobooks from multiple Kindle devices.
  3. You will have to remember only a single username and password. Many of such information also means added vulnerability of hacking or forgetting.

A Short Side Note

The easiest way to transfer audible books to another is to have a merged account. That’s how I can keep all my purchased audiobooks in one place. I just want to make my life less complex.

Now, you may be an eBook reader like me mainly, but I do like to listen to some cool audiobooks every now and then. I can’t listen to audiobooks from Audible from my Kindle device because the login information of Audible and Amazon is not the same.

I find that frustrating when I see there is an audiobook version of my favorite eBook but I can’t take the advantage of it. So, I personally like to have combined information just to take this single advantage.

I also love to take the full advantage of the Audible family sharing feature that I can get only if I combine my Audible account with my Amazon account.

You may have your own reasons just like I mentioned above, but I strongly recommend keeping all your content under singlehood. It just makes life a lot simpler.
