Combining magic, mysticism, wisdom and wonder into an inspiring tale of self-discovery, The Alchemist has become a modern classic, selling millions of copies around the world and transforming the lives of countless readers across generations. Paulo Coelho’s masterpiece tells the mystical story of Santiago, an Andalusian shepherd boy who yearns to travel in search of a worldly treasure. 2 Brideshead Revisited

Publisher’s Summary
Selected by Modern Library as one of the 100 best novels of the century and called “Evelyn Waugh’s finest achievement” by the New York Times, Brideshead Revisited is a stunning exploration of desire, duty, and memory.
The wellsprings of desire and the impediments to love come brilliantly into focus in Evelyn Waugh’s masterpiece — a novel that immerses us in the glittering and seductive world of English aristocracy in the waning days of the empire. Through the story of Charles Ryder’s entanglement with the Flytes, a great Catholic family, Evelyn Waugh charts the passing of the privileged world he knew in his own youth and vividly recalls the sensuous pleasures denied him by wartime austerities. At once romantic, sensuous, comic, and somber, Brideshead Revisited transcends Waugh’s early satiric explorations and reveals him to be an elegiac, lyrical novelist of the utmost feeling and lucidity.
“A genuine literary masterpiece.” —Time“Heartbreakingly beautiful…The twentieth century’s finest English novel.”–Los Angeles Times
My Review
Evelyn Waugh’s novel Brideshead Revisited comes with great expectation because the book was chosen by Time as one of the “All-time 100 Novels”. That’s the reason I choose to listen to this book. Here we came to know, how a middle-class man Charles Ryde’s life changed in the British upper-class society. We also found how the other two characters tried to bridge the social traditions and religious values. But they complicated their life for that reason. Here, we saw the main hero of this play socialized with upper-class people. But he wasn’t happy with his situation. How his life complicated life conflict with other characters we could find here. At the end of the audio, you could feel all the character and their emotions, love, and dilemma.
And this is the best-narrated audiobook of Jeremy Irons. That’s why you should give it try to know more about the Brideshead Revisited audiobook.
3 The Poems of T. S. Eliot Audiobook Review

Publisher’s Summary
Originally broadcast on BBC Radio 4, Jeremy Irons’ perceptive reading illuminates the poetry of T. S. Eliot in all its complexity. Major poems range from ‘The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock’ through the post-war desolation of ‘The Waste Land’ and the spiritual struggle of ‘Ash-Wednesday’, to the enduring charm of ‘Old Possum’s Book of Practical Cats’.
The Spectator praised Jeremy Irons’ interpretation as ‘so accessible, reading Eliot as if finding his words for the first time, grappling with them, relishing them, using them to express feelings that we all share as we struggle to accept, to recognise or relinquish’. Dame Eileen Atkins also appears alongside Jeremy Irons in the reading of ‘The Waste Land’.
My review on The Poems of T. S. Eliot
T.S.Eliot is the winner of the Nobel Prize in Literature. He is well known for modern literature, a poet, literary critic, dramatist, and editor and publisher. Jeremy Irons narrated this book. Which is also the best-selling and listening book. The voice of Jeremy Irons on this audiobook takes you to another world. Which the poet described in his poem. Jeremy Irons’s passionate voice memorized you. Every word from the poem you could feel. I love poems and I love his voice also. That gives me the drive to read more poems. One of my favorite lines from this book are:
April is the cruellest month, breeding
Lilacs out of the dead land, mixing
Memory and desire, stirring
Dull roots with spring rain.
Winter kept us warm, covering
Earth in forgetful snow, feeding
A little life with dried tubers.
